The program
What a season with Voltage looks like
Small teams, real playing time
We keep teams to 9 to 10 players per team so every athlete actually plays. We aim for the best combination of competitive play and high level coaching, with fun as a stated priority, and we want families who keep the experience positive.
Two practices a week, close to home
Teams practice out of the 24 Fitness Club in Fort Collins and a private facility in Berthoud. We form multiple teams across Northern Colorado so families and coaches are not driving an hour each way.

A season that gets out of the way
Club runs September through late January. Season complements the boys high school season, which starts in February and finishes in early May. Teams that travel out of state sometimes extend a little, and that is always the team’s choice.
What club volleyball actually is
Competitive training, practice, and tournament play outside the school season. Teams carry USAV/RMR and AAU memberships, which makes them eligible for local Power Leagues through RMR and for out of state events run by USAV, AAU, and other national organizations.

Sign-up sites are confusing. These guides are not.
USAV, RMR, AAU, CHSAA. Every one has its own account, its own deadline, and its own way of hiding the thing you need. We wrote it down so you only figure it out once.
Every player needs a current USA Volleyball membership before they can step on the court at a sanctioned tournament. This is the one that blocks everything else.
RMR posts where you are playing and what time only a few days before. Here is how to find it without hunting through the whole site.
Some out of state and national tournaments run under AAU instead of USAV. If your team is traveling, you probably need both.
